The 29 Challenge has been set up to raise vital funds for Mind – The Mental Health Charity, to help them in their continued work of supporting those experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
It promotes physical health, exercise and activity as important factors in managing our mental health. It also promotes the importance of good nutrition and emotional wellbeing as everything works together.
I have chosen Mind to keep investing in the services that support people who are struggling, need advice, or to connect with others who can help. The stresses and strains of every day life can be challenging in itself, but when it tips into anxiety and depression or questioning your life there is no shame in asking for help. It is essential to your overall health and well-being.
We know that physical activity is a key component in helping promote and maintain good mental health. I hope that The 29 Challenge will encourage people to get active and think about their own health, both physically and mentally, in a positive way.
